Reasons Why I’ve Been Deactivated on My Website
Why don’t we start this review with a story? Ok, I was traveling within Pakistan (Islamabad) and I knew I had no cellphone or laptop to keep me company during our 24+ hours of continuous travel. Definitely we were traveling by train, if you’re following me on Insta you’d probably know what I am talking about. So yeah, I had no technology with me needless to say, I was checking my accounts on my brother’s mobile (hehe, that social media attraction).
I decided to grab some good books with me so that when everyone is busy with themselves I would exercise my brain by reading and be productive. If you’re traveling and your destination is so far I suggest bring a good book along with yourself to keep you company. Forget about smartphones/social media because you’ve no idea there’s a whole new different universe inside every book.
This was the reason I’ve been deactivated on my website as I was rehabilitating, being productive, and enjoying my best time with my loved ones. Don’t worry from now on, you won’t miss an article for sure.
Another reason is my online bookstore which I’m managing with the help of my elder brother and I’m really grateful to have him in my life. Readazon’s online bookstore was running successfully. I had decided to run a campaign when I’ll get back to my original home, that I did by the grace of Almighty Allah and succeeded as well.
There are too many things going on, I just needed some time. If it weren’t for the little audience I have today, I won’t be able to make it. I am grateful to each and everything. Thank you beautiful people out there taking their precious time reading this stuff.
To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee Review, Ratings, and Quotes
Let’s move on to the actual topic To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee Review, Ratings, and Quotes. I’ve reviewed this remarkable classic on my Instagram page but I felt that it wasn’t enough. Instagram is limited (2200 characters in the caption) while WordPress is unlimited and here I can open up my heart without the fear of running out of words.
To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee, a book that I haven’t read but watched its movie 2 times. That’s why I was getting flashbacks of the movie I was reading. This book is a masterpiece, believe me, it really is. It has won the Pulitzer award. It gained instant popularity, widely read in the U.S. The plot and characters are loosely based on Lee’s observations of her family, her neighbors, and an event that occurred near her hometown of Monroeville, Alabama.
Question: How old were you when you discovered that Harper Lee is a female author?
For me, it was 21 years old. Sorry to offend you but honestly, I didn’t know. Harper Lee was a legend (hat’s off to your great mind). Okay, let’s talk about characters; I love Jean Louise Finch (Scout) and her brother Jeremy Finch (Jem). Regardless of their perfect brother-sister chemistry which is beautifully portrayed by Harper Lee. Atticus Finch is their widowed father and the role model of this lovely novel is a lawyer. Scout, Jem, and their best friend Dill pay a visit during Summertime to Maycomb County to stay with his aunty. Terrified and yet fascinated, Together they would plot to make “Boo” Radley come out. While Atticus fights for colored folks (Tom Robinson) and deals with some serious issues like rape and racial inequality. This novel is renowned for its warmth, humor, and uniqueness.
I’ve never read a novel with the characters so alive in my life. Scout is great and outstanding she is just a kid and I really admire her sense of humor. The way she asks so many questions, the way she thinks, the way she fights with her brother, the way she admires Atticus, the way she defends him, the way she enjoys Jem failures or defeats and makes fun of him, the way these two siblings get back on track after a good fight, yet they don’t leave each other. I am rejoiced, happy, cheerful, contented, and delighted to read this masterwork.
I recommend this to each and every one. To read this novel for at least once in a life. You will love this.
Ratings: 4.3/5 (Goodreads) but I’ll rate this 5/5
