Meta has recently introduced an artificial intelligence tool across its social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp. This AI assistant, designed to “get things done, learn, create, and connect with the things that matter to you,” works similarly to ChatGPT but with a unique twist. It allows users to create images using a simple prompt, such as “imagine,” making it a powerful tool for both personal and business use.

Although the feature has been well-received, some users have expressed frustration with accidentally triggering the chatbot repeatedly while searching for profiles. Fortunately, Meta has provided a solution to manage the chatbot’s notifications.

How to Mute Meta’s AI Chatbot

While it is not possible to completely disable the chatbot, users can mute it to reduce notifications. Here’s how to mute the chatbot on each platform:

WhatsApp

Open the AI chat, navigate to the chatbot’s profile, and select the option to mute. Choose the duration for which you want the notifications to remain muted, and the chatbot’s notifications will be silenced.

Instagram and Facebook

Follow the same steps as above to mute the chatbot on both platforms.
